At SMI – Studio Mónica Iglesias, we believe that every cultural project deserves a bespoke strategy, sustained attention and genuine personal commitment. That is why we work with a carefully selected number of clients, choosing each project with great care. This approach allows us to develop an in-depth understanding of every organisation, provide ongoing support and deliver strategic guidance throughout every stage of the process.

Mónica Iglesias personally leads every project and maintains a direct, long-term relationship with each client. Strategy, planning and decision-making are never delegated; they are an integral part of a close, collaborative approach that ensures consistency, responsiveness and a thorough understanding of each organisation's objectives and needs.

Our team is made up of senior professionals with extensive experience in cultural communications, contemporary art and the management of international projects.

Based in Spain and Italy, we work with museums, galleries, foundations, art fairs, artists and cultural institutions across different countries, developing communication strategies with both national and international reach.

We believe in communication grounded in a deep understanding of the art world, long-term relationships built on trust, and excellence in execution. For this reason, we prioritise quality over volume and choose to collaborate only on projects where we know we can make a meaningful and lasting contribution.
